Fun Family Session in the Toronto Annex

Back in February, I got to know a wonderful family in Toronto's Annex neighborhood. As much as I love going around Toronto and meeting new families in different city neighborhoods, it is always a treat for me to be able to take photos in my own neighborhood. I felt right at home as soon as I walked into this family's house. Mom, Dad, and son Max were eager to show me how they spent a typical Saturday morning at their house. I even got to photograph the family dog, Jim, who definitely received a fair share of my camera's attention. Can you blame me? Just look at him!

After reading was done, the family went to the kitchen to make some pancakes. A perfect Saturday treat, if I do say so myself!

And what better way to top off a fun photo session than to play some road hockey? We were in the midst of a bit of a winter melt at that time, so the streets had big puddles. Which OF COURSE is awesome when you're 3, and even more awesome when you've got a hockey stick to slap the water with!

Boy playing with hockey stickMark_Amrit_Max-394 It was such a fun way to spend a Saturday morning, and I am very grateful that this lovely family let me spend a slide of their day with them, so that I could capture their beautiful moments.
