Next Time…This past weekend, I found myself wandering the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM). I’d been there several times before, both for my own music lessons and for my daughter’s, though I’d never had a chance to take in the architecture. A few years ago, the RCM underwent an expansion. It was one of those cliché expansions where a snazzy new modern building is built adjacent to an older, more classic-looking building. I’m not a big fan of these types of projects because they’re so overdone in Toronto, but this one actually looks nice (unlike the ROM…don’t even get me started). Unfortunately, I didn’t have my fancycam with me (i.e. my DSLR). Fortunately, I DID have my iPhone, and the iPhone 4S takes some pretty fancypants pictures. Especially if you use the Instagram and/or Hipstamatic apps. Check out some of my roaming adventures! I am totally planning on returning with my DSLR.
